Welcome! I am a computer professional in Amarillo, Texas. I work as a volunteer with the open source community, particularly the Fedora Project. I am employed by cat-man-du, where I perform a variety of information technology services, including programming, web design, graphics design, systems design, forensics and data recovery, repairs and more. I also do some freelance writing.

I have a 3-year-old daughter, Ellie JoAnne Barnes, and she only gives me more reason to accomplish my goals. I live as modest a life as possible, residing in a small apartment, riding my bicycle whenever I can and overall keeping things simple. I am not currently involved with anyone, and the focus of my life right now is providing the best life I can for my daughter and I. My employer, cat-man-du, is a solid startup, and I work with a great team to bring our talents to the benefit of the region with the hopes that the region will treat us in kind. My ultimate goal is the betterment of humankind through technology and education.
